Terms & Conditions

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all trips to secure a booking. The remaining balance is payable on the day of the trip.
  • If the customer cancels their booking/trip, the non-refundable deposit may be refunded at the director's discretion.
  • The boat will only go out once the quota of people (or full payment for private charters) has been filled.
  • In the event of bad weather or low passenger numbers Gold Coast Fishing Charters has the right to cancel any scheduled trips at anytime. In this instance, all deposits are refundable. Alternatively, Gold Coast Fishing Charters can organise for the customer to transfer their booking to an equally suitable fishing charter company.
  • Any fishing rods or reels that are lost overboard or damaged in anyway due to customer negligence must be paid for by the customer before leaving the boat.
  • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. Gold Coast Fishing Charters takes no responsibility for children 12 years or under.
  • All trip prices are subject to change without notice.

FISHING IN THE OPEN OCEAN CAN BE DANGEROUS. GOLD COAST FISHING CHARTERS TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES OR INJURIES SUSTAINED TO PERSONS, OR PERSONS' PROPERTY, WHILST BOARDING THE VESSEL, FOR THE DURATION OF TRIP, OR DISEMBARKING FROM THE VESSEL UNLESS AT FAULT OF THE OWNER OR OPERATOR.
