We offer Private Group charters on our boat the: MV “fat hooker”– Whether you are familiar with fishing or not this charter provides unmissable fishing experiences that you will surely remember for years to come! Don’t panic if you don’t know the first thing about fishing for bottom dwellers and other pelagic fish species; our charming and patient crew will gladly run you through the motions. You will learn a number of techniques that will enable you to successfully catch Snapper, Cobia, Wahoo, Tuna, Mackerel, Marlin, Jewfish and many more!
Offshore Reef & Game Fishing
The MV Fat Hooker is equipped with a full cover roof to keep your sheltered from the weather, plenty of seating for when you need a time out and of course clean and sanitary toilet facilities. Your safety and comfort is important to us.

If you do not have your own transportation you can make the most of our free bus shuttle service that will take you from your Gold Coast hotel to our departure point. Please note that you are more than welcome to bring your own booze provided that you are respectful. Our charters include complimentary bottled drinking water and all of the necessary equipment.
Departure point
The departure point is located at the Muriel Henchman Drive Main Beach 4217. It is called the ‘The Spit pontoon’. The 5 hour morning trip and full day charters depart at 6.00am, whereas the half day afternoon charters depart at 11.00am.
If you are having trouble locating the Pontoon simply head past the SeaWorld Nara Resort. Keep an eye out for a blue sign that reads: “boat ramp/Charter boats”. Once you’ve found that you must take a left at Muriel Henchman Drive. There is plenty of parking available, or alternatively you can make the most of our free bus shuttle service.
